For most of us (for now) managing our email is not a tremendous problem. But more and more people within professional environments are getting overloaded with their email load. I know from being friends with several of the pastors and staff people at Saddleback Church that a lot of their work anxiety comes from just trying to keep up with email.
The problem is that email begets email x 2. It is like your inbox has become a bottomless pit that every time you throw a shovel full out two more come crashing in.

When I first received Apple’s newest operating system I was super excited to use some of the new UI tweaks that would help with organizing active work on my computer. The feature I was most excited about was called Spaces, which is a virtual desktop option. It allows you to have different desktops you can switch between.

Here is the PowerPoint / Keynote presentation slides from teaching the class today up at California Baptist Seminary. It is still rough - especially how I attempt to explain the relationship between Web 2.0 and Social Media - it needs re-organized from that point.
