So, like a month ago I was thinking about how cool the lobby conversations were that I had at the Echo conference in Dallas. And then I was thinking about all the unconference elements to the O’Reilly Web 2.0 and the Blog World and New Media conference from last year. And I have always been aware of all that Brogan has been doing with PodCamp. So, I thought to myself – I wonder what a church and technology gathering of like minded people looking to learn from each other would look like?
So, I decided to do one to find out! Church TechCamp was then born and I grabbed some like-passioned individuals to help pull it off. Now we are meeting at Fuller (90% sure on that one lol), the date is Sept 26th, we have a website, you can register for free, and that participants are the experts! (CLICK HERE for the Facebook event).
Church TechCamp has already been getting a ton of attention even with little to no advertising. We have some people flying out to be there and hang with everyone, and even guys like Eric Busby coming to present some of his findings from his work in the Tech and Missions projects he has been working on over the past few years.
Needless to say the excitement for this gathering is continuing to build!
If you want to check it out CLICK HERE.
We will be live streaming everything (just go to churchtechcamp.com on the day of) and we hope to see you there!
